PSG, OM, OL, Nantes… Which L1 club has had the best transfer window?
After almost three months, the transfer window closed its doors this Thursday at 11 p.m. The last day of the transfer market was once again very lively. But now, it’s time to take stock, especially in Ligue 1. Therefore, which French club has achieved the best transfer window?
Once again, the last day of the summer transfer window was very lively, especially in Ligue 1, with several surprises. But more generally, Ligue 1 clubs have been very active, especially on the side ofOM or even PSG, two clubs that will compete in the Champions League this season. Others were more discreet, especially in the last straight line of the transfer window, like theOL. But which French team did the best this summer?
OM was on fire
Like last summer, theOM will still be very active. Indeed, the Marseille club, which changed coaches against all odds, recruited twelve new players, namely Samuel Gigot, Isaac Toure, Chancel Mbemba, Ruben Blanco, Jonathan Clauss, Nuno Tavares, Jordan Veretout, Luis Suarez, Alexis Sanchez, Issa Kabore, Eric Bailly and Amine Harit. All this, without counting the call options exercised for Matteo Guendouzi, Paul Lopez and Cengiz Under. Also in the direction of departures, Pablo Longoria will have finally succeeded in separating from several players on which theOM no longer mattered. In effect, Luan Peres, Pol Lirola, Nemanja Radonjic or Luis Henrique and Kevin Strootman left before the Marseille club accelerated further in the last straight line of the transfer window with the sale of Duje Caleta-Car as well as the loan of Jordan Amavi.
PSG finally degreases, but experiences a big failure
the PSG was not outdone on the transfer window. Under the impulsion of Luis Campos and Antero Henrique, the club from the capital has above all succeeded in slimming down by separating from no less than 20 players, including the departure of certain young players. The loft created by Luis Campos with several undesirables was notably well emptied with loans from Layvin Kurzawa (Fulham), Julian Draxler (Benfica), Ander Herrera (Athletic Bilbao) and Georginio Wijnaldum (AS Roma) as well as the transfer ofIdrissa Gueye (Everton). Other important departures have also been concluded, such as those of Thilo Kehrer (West Ham), Abdou Diallo (RB Leipzig), Leandro Paredes (Juventus) or even Arnaud Kalimuendo (Reindeer). On the arrivals side, Vitinha, Hugo Ekitike, Nordi Mukiele, Renato Sanches, Fabian Ruiz and Carlos Soler came to reinforce the workforce of Christophe Galtier. But the absence of the recruitment of a central defender is a failure in the transfer window of PSG.

Rennes and Nice panic at the end of the transfer window, OL discreet
For the rest, theOGC Nice panicked on the last day of the transfer window, attracting in particular Gaetan Laborde whileAmine Gouiri take the opposite route to reach reindeer. Les Aiglons also attracted Sofiane Diop, Kasper Schmeichel or Nicolas Pepe. reindeer has also succeeded in making a few noteworthy transfers, such as those ofArnaud Kalimuendo, Steve Mandanda and so Amine Gouiri. On the other hand, theOL was much more discreet after repatriating Alexandre Lacazette and Corentin Tolisso very early in the transfer window. Afterwards, Nicholas Tagliafico landed, but it was above all with the departure of Lucas Paqueta that the Gones have distinguished themselves. Finally, the RC Lens once again carried out some nice operations such as the transfer of Loic Openda. But the big blow of the Sang-et-Or was above all the extension of Seko Fofana.
In your opinion, which L1 club has achieved the best transfer window?
