Prince William and his wife took their three children to school this Wednesday, September 7. It is the first time that the three children have been to the same establishment and it is also the first time that they have set foot in this school in Berkshire, following the family’s move to Windsor.
For the first time, Prince Louis returns with George and Charlotte
The Cambridge family arrived radiant on September 7, 2022 in front of the entrance to Lambrook School, the new school chosen by Prince William and Catherine Middleton to educate their children. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge moved over the summer from their apartments at Kensington Palace in central London to Adelaide Cottage, a home in Windsor Royal Park.
Prince Louis, now 4 years old, is making his comeback like the big ones and for the first time he is joining the same school as his big brother, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7. When the family arrived near the school entrance, Prince William tried to take his youngest son by the hand. But Prince Louis withdrew his hand, wishing to show that he can walk like a grown-up on his own.
Discovery of the Lambbrook School
Upon arrival at the school, the family was greeted by Jonathan Perry, the principal of Lambrook School. He then guided George, Charlotte, Louis, William and Catherine inside to participate in the orientation day. The Duchess of Cambridge, who wore a brown dress with white polka dots from Rixo, and Prince William, who wore a blue suit without a tie, attended the hour and a half briefing which helps to reassure new students and their parents.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte had been educated at Thomas’s Battersea since 2017 and 2019. They therefore left this very select establishment located in London for the Lambrook School, located less than 15 kilometers from their new home in Windsor. Prince Louis, who was still at daycare until now, will make his first year in pre-preparatory. Its tuition fees amount to approximately 4400 pounds sterling per term or 5200 euros. Princess Charlotte has tuition fees of around 6450 pounds per term, or 7600 euros. Finally, William and Catherine will have to pay 7,000 pounds per quarter, or 8,250 euros, for Prince George.
Lambrook School was founded in 1860 and has 620 pupils. The school has a vast area of 21 hectares to accommodate boys and girls aged 3 to 13 years.
