In prime time Wednesday evening, France 2 won with the new French series “Marianne”, camped by Marilou Berry. The two episodes attracted an average of 3.48 million viewers, for a market share of 17.1% (7.9% on the FRDA-50). Last week, the unreleased unit “Everybody is lying” was watched by 3.89 million people (19.5% of 4+ and 6.2% of FRDA-50).

TF1 follows with season 5 of its American medical series “Good Doctor”, two new episodes of which were offered until 10:50 p.m. This evening was attended by an average of 2.59 million seriphiles, or 12.8% of the public and 19.3% of women in charge of purchasing under the age of fifty (FRDA-50). On this commercial target, the channel is beaten by M6. Last Tuesday, for the return of the series worn by Freddie Highmore, an average of 2.73 million French people (14.0% of the public and 20.2% of the FRDA-50) had responded.

Back on the rise for “The best pastry chef” on M6

For its part, M6 kicked off season 11 of “Best Pastry Chef”, presented by Marie Portolano and co-produced by BBC Studios France and Kitchen Factory Production. The return of culinary entertainment, still in the presence of Cyril Lignac and Mercotte, made 2.23 million gourmets salivate, for an audience share of 13.0% in 4-year-olds and over and 23.1% in the main commercial target, in which the chain is therefore the leader. On October 7, 2021, the launch of season 10 took place in front of 2.07 million aficionados (11.3% of 4+ and 24.8% of FRDA-50). It was then the lowest historical launch in 4+ for the program.

Among the other channels, on C8, a rebroadcast episode of “Mongeville” with Francis Perrin, a series originally broadcast on France 3, was able to count on 1.20 million viewers and 6.1% of the public aged 4 years and over. They were 1.09 million aficionados at the rendezvous a week ago (6.0% of the public). On Arte, the film “La villa” was scrutinized by 1.18 million moviegoers (5.6% of 4+).

On Canal+, the Champions League match between Tottenham and Olympique de Marseille thrilled 1.27 million viewers, which represents an audience share of 6.2%. The day before, the poster opposing PSG to Juventus Turin had galvanized 1.73 million supporters, or 8.6% of the public.

France 3 is only seventh with the new documentary “L’épopée des vignerons”, directed by Emmanuelle Nobécourt. An offer that just interested 1.12 million people, which represents 5.5% of the public.

Note the very good performance of women in charge of purchasing under the age of fifty achieved by Jarry with the retransmission of her show on TMC: 7.2% of the FRDA-50 attended, which placed the channel of the TF1 group in 4th position in the evening’s audiences on this strategic indicator.

And on France 5, the arrival of Augustin Trapenard at the head of the program “La grande bookstore” attracted 448,000 enthusiasts. The market share is 2.1%. On September 1, 2021, the start of the new season, then embodied by François Busnel, brought together 425,000 people (1.8% of the public).
